Canada's First Registered Irish Draught Stallion

Is offered for sale

Kilpeck Diamond Knight is an imported 17.3hh Registered Irish Draught stallion. He was the first fully approved Irish Draught stallion to stand in Canada and is by Roma Diamond Skip and out of Knockaney Princess

Kilpeck Diamond Knight ("Fargo") is directly descended from the legendary King of Diamonds, sire of many Irish jumper stars.  He is linebred to King of Diamonds' sire, Errigal RID.  The Irish inspectors who inspected him commented on his resemblance to King of Diamonds. In addition to KoD Fargo also possesses most of the top performance bloodlines of the breed including, Laughton and Skippy.

Despite his sport-oriented pedigree, Fargo takes after the traditional Irish Draught in style.  He has the muscular build to give both jumping power and longevity.  He has stamped his foals with his substance, good proportions and kind, loyal temperament.

A natural jumper and free mover, Fargo went into training with Ruth Armstrong, Armstrong Farm, Orangeville, Ontario, at the end of 2005 with a view to starting his eventing career this summer.
